Job Description
The Superintendent of Rockford Area Schools supervises the business manager, building principals, director of teaching and learning, special education coordinator, technology coordinator and community education director. Job Requirements
Relevant educational leadership experience and eligibility for Minnesota superintendent licensure are minimum standards for consideration. Prior superintendent experience is preferred.
Other qualifications include:
a strong understanding of school district financial and legal issues
demonstrated academic leadership in curriculum and staff development
strong written and public speaking skills
proven positive relationships with staff, board and community
strong leadership and management skills
